Coaches Meeting

BOD in attendence:
Matt Avalone, Lori Beaudin, Mike Bottos, Vic Blanchard, Ryan Pellechia, Jon Haxton, Doug Hare, Chad Weko, John Visselle, Kevin Keese




CoEd rule changes

1) The idea of a "commitment line" was
proposed and coaches offered input. The proposed rule
introduction will be voted on at a future BOD
meeting.

2) The idea of limiting all but the 7th inning to 5
runs scored per team per inning. This will be voted on as
well

3) Coaches raised concerns with games frequently not
reaching 7th inning due to 1 hour time limit. The board will
revisit the idea of raising time limit to 1hr 15mins.





League Rules

1) The concept of the D1 Players List was discussed and
suggestions were made on how to improve the process

2) The BOD asked for opinions on the batting Mats.
Coaches agreed the mats have improved league play.

3) Coaches agreed the bat testing procedure has worked
out great

4) A proposal was made for coaches to submit early
roster drafts in February for review for strength and
division placement. This was to provide coaches time to
add/drop players prior to signup night to make requested
divisions.





Jessie Glidan (is he confirmed?) and Danny Troche have
been added to the BOD.
